Become an Associate Member or Big Sand Friend
This category of membership for the Big Sand Lake Association (BSLA) is available to non-property owners, adult children of BSLA families, frequent and occasional visitors to Big Sand Lake, and regular webcam viewers who share a love for Big Sand Lake. Associate Members will receive BSLA newsletters and other mailings but will not have login access to the BSLA Resident Directory nor the Member’s Area on the website.
BSLA is a 501c3 organization dedicated to the protection, preservation, and enhancement of Big Sand Lake for all to enjoy today and in the future. BSLA relies on membership dues to fund annual activities such as on-going water quality monitoring, Zebra Mussel and Starry Stonewart prevention, installation and maintenance of safety buoys, newsletters, website, and two webcams providing live, year-round viewing of the lake.

Donate to the Charitable Fund/AIS Watercraft Inspections
The Big Sand Lake Charitable Fund (CF), managed by Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NWMF), is an endowed fund and spendable fund which is available for large expenditures when needed for the protection, preservation, and enhancement of Big Sand Lake and its environs. Currently, the primary expenditure is the annual AIS Watercraft Inspection program.

To make your donation available for watercraft inspection or other special projects, please select the General Spendable option in the "Direct Donation To" dropdown menu.
